Partner Platform Notice: Known Cal Issues
We are actively tracking the following known issues originating in Cal-managed flows. These may impact some customers:
- Some Should-be-Business (SBB) transactions are appearing as duplicates in the Custodia UI, which may also impact billing reports.
- Some declined transactions are being posted after the fact, which may affect billing reports.
- If expected Custodia features or functionality are unavailable or appear to be missing, please contact your Cal representative to verify that the latest Custodia platform release has been deployed to your cloud environment. In some cases, feature availability may depend on deployment status within the Cal-managed infrastructure.

What's New in v2026.24.0
This release is about seeing what actually happened on an activity, unlocking exported expenses in bulk, treating a rehire as a new person instead of the old account, and making mileage rates, missing receipts, and “It’s me” on a declined card work the way people expect.
📜 One history for an activity
View history can now open a single activity audit trail: changes, expenses, and related events in one place, instead of a separate change-history panel and a separate audit-trail menu.
- Opening history backfills older events so the trail is complete, without duplicate rows.
- Ask your admin if unified history is enabled for your company. Until then, the previous View history and audit-trail menu still work.
🔓 Unlock exported expenses in bulk
Support and tenant tech admins can Unlock All from Mass Updates on the expenses grid — one confirm, then every matching exported expense is unlocked so it can be changed and exported again. Split lines stay locked. The action is available when expense unlock and mass update are turned on for your company.
👤 Rehires get a new account
Importing or signing in a rehire no longer attaches to a terminated, archived, or inactive user with the same employee ID, email, or username. A new active account is created; the old record stays as-is. Login and password reset follow the new person. Suspended or fraud-flagged accounts are still matched as before.
🚘 Company-wide mileage rates
A mileage policy rate with role everyone (*) now applies to every employee, not only people with a matching role. Role-specific rates still win when they are higher. Admins no longer need a Parameters write permission just to make the company default stick.
🍁 Canada KYB files stay in the vault
Know Your Business documents for Canadian companies (articles, shareholders, good standing, directors) are stored encrypted in the KYC vault, not as ordinary attachments. One active file per document type; replacing a file archives the previous one. Only the right company roles can list, upload, or download.
💳 Card access after MFA stays with you
Issuing a card, revealing details, or setting a PIN still requires a fresh MFA step (SMS/voice OTP or first-login device check). That step-up now survives cookie refresh and tab refocus, so you are not bounced back to sign-in before the secure card screen. Slow first paint after SSO is less likely to drop you on the login page.
✨ Smoother day-to-day
- Missing receipts loads faster, and the Top-10 charts sort by amount, count, and days the same way the grid does — large outliers show up when they should.
- Payment completed on a reimbursement notifies once. Replaying payout status on a collection that already includes old paid expenses no longer fans out another round of emails.
- Manager team search on a new activity or spend permission can find anyone on the team, not only the first fifty names.
- It’s me on an address (AVS) decline always records the confirmation, so the next attempt can get past AVS and show the real next gate (often matching or creating an activity) instead of looping on the same decline.
- Bulk delete of activities finishes child budgets instead of leaving them behind.
- Remapping a leaf merchant off an empty master is faster and still updates restricted activities and vendors.
