Partner Platform Notice: Known Cal Issues
We are actively tracking the following known issues originating in Cal-managed flows. These may impact some customers:
- Some Should-be-Business (SBB) transactions are appearing as duplicates in the Custodia UI, which may also impact billing reports.
- Some declined transactions are being posted after the fact, which may affect billing reports.
- If expected Custodia features or functionality are unavailable or appear to be missing, please contact your Cal representative to verify that the latest Custodia platform release has been deployed to your cloud environment. In some cases, feature availability may depend on deployment status within the Cal-managed infrastructure.

What's New in v2026.22.0
This release turns Airwallex into something you can set up and test, lets the AI Assistant fill an out-of-pocket form from the receipt, attaches purchase-order cost centers to the buyer, lets Canadian card refunds complete, and makes everyday screens faster by reusing connections between services.
⚡ Faster screens, especially for large companies
Services inside the platform now reuse HTTP connections instead of opening a new secure connection for every internal request. Expense totals, searches, and other lookups that hop between services should feel snappier — the kind of improvement you notice most on a busy tenant, where those round-trips used to add up.
🏦 Airwallex you can actually turn on
Adding Airwallex as a card program no longer fails on the first step. The provider is saved as not connected until credentials are in place — then you connect and go live.
- Save API credentials in Airwallex Setup. Secrets are stored, not shown back.
- After credentials are saved, connect the provider to fetch issuing config and mark it active.
- Support can run the sandbox simulator — authorize, capture, reverse, and refund — from the same setup screen.
- A new card that Airwallex still has in pending shows as unactivated, not “out of sync.”
🤖 An AI Assistant that fills the form from the receipt
Upload a receipt for an out-of-pocket expense and the assistant’s form comes in already filled: merchant, amount, and date.
- Amex and jetBlue receipts no longer guess a dollar amount as the merchant name.
- Dates written as named months (for example September 4, 2026) are recognized.
- Currency on the form is your company’s default — not a long list of options.
📋 Purchase orders that attach the cost center
When a purchase order is created with a cost center, that cost center is added to the buyer if they weren’t already on it. If they had none, it becomes their default. If they already have a default, that default stays.
🍁 Canadian card refunds that go through
CAD Visa refund authorizations that were being declined at the gateway now match the original purchase and complete. Everyday purchases are unchanged.
