Partner Platform Notice: Known Cal Issues
We are actively tracking the following known issues originating in Cal-managed flows. These may impact some customers:
- Some Should-be-Business (SBB) transactions are appearing as duplicates in the Custodia UI, which may also impact billing reports.
- Some declined transactions are being posted after the fact, which may affect billing reports.
- If expected Custodia features or functionality are unavailable or appear to be missing, please contact your Cal representative to verify that the latest Custodia platform release has been deployed to your cloud environment. In some cases, feature availability may depend on deployment status within the Cal-managed infrastructure.
For updates, timelines, or customer-specific impact details, please contact your Cal representative directly. Cal support contact details are available here: Cal Support Hours and Contact Information.
What's New in v2026.21.0
This release polishes the everyday moments that matter: mileage in your units, an AI Assistant that can fill in a short form, imports and exports that finish cleanly, and Canadian tax that reads receipts the way Uber actually prints them.
🚘 Mileage in miles or kilometers — your choice
You can now set a personal mileage unit of miles or kilometers. It overrides the company default, so a Canadian employee and a US colleague can each log trips the way they think about distance.
- Set it once on your profile; new mileage logs use that unit.
- Every log now has an explicit unit, so a trip is never silently converted by ~1.6×.
🤖 An AI Assistant that asks the right questions
The assistant is less of a chat window and more of a guided expense flow.
- After a receipt is scanned, confirm with a single Proceed chip — or type a correction in plain language.
- If something is missing, it shows a short form (merchant, date, reason — and expense type or currency when needed). Partial answers come back as “just fill in what’s still missing,” not a full restart.
- Before anything is submitted, you get a preview with Submit or Cancel. Cancel does not submit.
- Dates outside your company’s policy are rejected with a clear message, not a silent fail.
📤 Imports that explain themselves — exports that actually finish
CSV imports now speak your language. When a file is wrong, you get a plain-language error (English, Hebrew, French, Arabic, or Russian) instead of a raw system message — and header or column problems are caught before the job runs.
Downloadable import reports show only the failed rows, with localized headers, so finance can fix the file and try again.
Large expense exports complete with all their data rows. They no longer stop after the header on a long download.
💳 Cards that look like the card in your wallet
Card products can now compose a real card image — name, last four, and other non-sensitive details drawn onto the product artwork — so the card in the app looks like the plastic (or virtual card) employees actually use. Sensitive details stay off the public image.
🍁 Canadian tax, even on Uber receipts
Receipt scanning now reads tax the way Canadian rideshare receipts print it: HST CA$3.52, TPS, and TVQ land in the right GST / HST / QST fields. Guest-count lines like “Gst 1” are no longer mistaken for a tax amount, and hyphenated business numbers are recognized.
✨ Smoother day-to-day
- Deleting a recurring activity works. Admins can remove a bulk recurring activity — including ones with archived past periods — without a “cannot end allocation” error.
- Your delegates are yours. Only you (or HR / admin / support) can add or remove assistants on your account. A colleague can no longer change someone else’s delegates.
- Month-end on large card programs finishes on time. Activating a payment for a company with thousands of cards no longer times out.
- Vendor logos load faster and missing logos no longer clutter the experience.
