Custodia cards are your way to perform transactions. Whether you’re using a physical or virtual card, this guide will walk you through how to activate, manage, and spend with your Custodia card.
Where to Access Your Card
You can view and manage your Custodia card through both Mobile and Web:
On Mobile:
Open Custodia app to Home Page (Organize/Plan)
Tap the Card bar below the top navigation
Here you’ll see all of your Custodia cards associated with your account.
Swipe left to right to view each card individually.
On Web:
Go to my.custodia.ai and log in.
Navigate to My Dashboard to view and manage your card.
Activating Your Card
Physical Card:
Once you receive your card in the mail, open the Custodia App.
Go to Settings > Payment Methods to activate your card.
Enter the last 4 digits of the card and follow the prompts.
Virtual Card:
All virtual cards are automatically activated and ready to use once issued.

Spending with Your Card
You can only spend on a Custodia card when it is linked to an approved Activity.
Request an Activity if you do not already have one.
Once your Activity is approved, the budget will be allocated to your card.
Use your Custodia card like a regular credit card for business expenses.
Note: If your transaction is declined, check for:
No linked activity
Locked card
Activity budget limit exceeded
Merchant mismatch

Tracking Expenses
All card transactions automatically appear in the Expenses tab.
Transactions will be automatically matched to the correct Activity.
You may be prompted to upload receipts or confirm business details.
You can split, reassign, or edit expenses (if allowed by your company).

Card Binding to an Activity
In Custodia, you have the option to bound a card to an approved Activity in order to make purchases. This ensures that every transaction with this card is tied to the relevant business purpose and budget.
When to Bind a Card:
Use this option when you want to restrict card usage to a specific Activity.
Ideal for recurring use cases like team budgets, projects, or travel

You can review all your spending history under the Expenses tab at any time.
