Overview
A User ID is the unique internal identifier assigned to every employee record in Custodia. It is different from an email address or username and does not change over time. Custodia uses this identifier to reliably reference a specific user across all internal systems.
Understanding how to locate the User ID ensures an accurate reference to the individual user details.
How to Locate a User's ID
Step 1
Navigate to the User’s dashboard either from the Company Employee Page or from the Employees Search Helpdesk.

Step 2
Once you are on the User’s dashboard, you will see the option to Copy ID on the left hand side of the page. This will copy the User’s ID to your computer’s clipboard.
Step 3
Once you have received the notification that the ID has been copied, feel free to paste where necessary.
