Partner Platform Notice: Known Cal Issues
We are actively tracking the following known issues originating in Cal-managed flows. These may impact some customers:
- Some Should-be-Business (SBB) transactions are appearing as duplicates in the Custodia UI, which may also impact billing reports.
- Some declined transactions are being posted after the fact, which may affect billing reports.
- If expected Custodia features or functionality are unavailable or appear to be missing, please contact your Cal representative to verify that the latest Custodia platform release has been deployed to your cloud environment. In some cases, feature availability may depend on deployment status within the Cal-managed infrastructure.
For updates, timelines, or customer-specific impact details, please contact your Cal representative directly. Cal support contact details are available here: Cal Support Hours and Contact Information.
What's New in v2026.26.0
This release shows a regional controller the budget name on an expense they can already open, and archives a used-up gift when its card goes live. A replaced activity-template image shows up right away.
🗺️ The budget name on an expense a regional controller can open
Last release limited a regional controller’s budget list to subsidiaries on their management teams, plus budgets they own. Opening an expense in a subsidiary they control still hid the budget when that budget is company-wide or belongs to another subsidiary. That is the common case.
The budget name now shows on that expense: the Budget column, the expense detail, and the legacy Out of Pocket grid, including a pending cash expense.
- The budgets screen still hides company-wide budgets and budgets in other subsidiaries.
- Choosing a budget on someone else’s expense still only offers budgets they can browse.
- When the name is visible only because of the expense, the budget limit stays hidden.
🎁 A used-up gift archives when the card goes live
When a gift card becomes active, a gift activity that is fully used and whose budget line is empty is archived. Those activities were set to end in 2099, so they never dropped off on their own.
- A gift that still has budget left stays open.
- A gift that is not marked used stays open.
- If charging the budget fails, the activity stays open. If archiving fails, the card-ready email still goes out.
🖼️ Activity template images update when you replace them
Replacing an activity template image — upload or Choose Existing — updates the tile and the preview right away. A default template updates for other companies viewing it too. Card-provider logos stay as they are.
✨ Smoother day-to-day
- Support can mark outstanding reimbursements paid when employees were already paid outside Custodia, and those employees are not emailed again. Marking a payment batch paid from finance still notifies employees.
- ICC clearances in the new 500-character file format are read. Where ICC clearing exchange rates are in use, a two-step foreign-exchange marker for international-organization and Cal transactions follows the same rate path as the older two-step marker. Files in the current 400-character format clear as before.
