The Analytics section provides managers and finance teams with powerful reporting tools designed to help track budgets, monitor spending behavior, and identify potential risks across the organization. This module gives a clear, real-time overview of financial performance and enables data-driven decision making.
The Analytics module includes three types of reports:
Budget Utilization
Missing Receipts
High Spend Detection
Below is a detailed overview of each area.
1. Budget Utilization
The Budget Utilization report allows managers to track how organizational budgets are being consumed. This view helps ensure that teams are staying within their allocated resources and highlights areas where spending may be too low or too high.
Filtering Options
Users can filter budgets by period:
2025 Q2
2025 Q3
2025 Q4 (as shown in the screenshot)
2026 Q1
Or navigate directly to Next Year
A search bar is available to quickly locate a specific budget by name, owner, or department.
Annual Budgets
Each annual budget contains the following information:
Budget Header
Budget name (e.g., VP – Product Development 2025 Budget)
Budget owner (e.g., Kawan Jefferies)
Total allocated amount (e.g., $10,000)
Budget Progress Bar
A visual bar indicating the percentage of the budget used (e.g., 108%).
The bar helps identify overspending at a glance.
Detailed Budget Breakdown
Displayed below the bar:
Amount used
Amount reserved
Remaining budget
Sub-budget total
Overage amount, if applicable (e.g., -$807 Budget Left)
Additional Context
The report also includes:
Date and amount of the last transaction

These links allow managers to immediately investigate employee spending tied to a specific budget.
Sub-budgets
Some budgets contain sub-budgets, assigned to team members or sub-teams.
Each sub-budget includes:
Annual amount allocated
Usage progress (e.g., 0%)
Remaining funds
Direct links to view related expenses and activities
This hierarchical view helps managers understand how distributed budgets are being used across the organization.
2. Missing Receipts

The Missing Receipts report provides a consolidated list of transactions where employees have not submitted required receipts.
Managers can:
Identify overdue receipts
Filter by employee, team, or time period
Send reminders directly
Monitor compliance across the organization
This ensures accurate financial documentation and prevents reconciliation issues.
3. High Spend Detection
This report highlights:
Unusual spending patterns
Potential fraud indicators
Transaction spikes
Out-of-policy purchases
Suspicious merchant categories
The system uses spending rules and historical patterns to identify anomalies so managers can act quickly if something requires attention.
