Overview
Chart of accounts is a list of all of the General Ledger accounts that can be associated with expenses in the Custodia platform. Typically these are well defined in your accounting system and exported/imported into Custodia for you to use when classifying expenses.
The chart of accounts has several attributes, typically defined in your accounting system.
- Subsidiary: The subsidiary associated with the account
- Accounting Code: The code associated with the account, typically a number
- Account: The name of the account
- Type: The type of the account, typically Expense or whatever comes from your accounting system
- Description
- Currency
- Default
- External Id
