Overview
Cost Centers are an attribute associated to employees for classifying expenses. You can add or remove cost centers that may be associated to employees by navigating to
Finance & Accounting -> Accounting Setup -> Cost Centers.
There are several attributes for each cost center:
- Code: an internal code, typically a number, associated with the cost center
- Name: the name of the cost center
- Owner: the owner of the cost center (or none)
- Active: whether or not the cost center is active
- Description: a description of the cost center
Edit Cost Center
To edit a cost center click on the icon. Then make the changes that you want and click on the green check mark to save it.
Delete Cost Center
To delete a cost center click on the green trash bin icon.
