Overview

Locking an activity prevents transactions from being associated with it. This can be useful when several activities cover similar spending during the same time period and you want to prevent transactions from being assigned to the wrong activity.

You can lock or unlock individual activities from the Custodia mobile app or web app. The mobile app also allows you to lock all activities at once.

Mobile app

Lock an activity

1. Sign in to the Custodia mobile app on your iPhone or Android device.
2. Go to the Activity screen.
3. Swipe left on the activity you want to lock.
4. Tap Lock.
5. A lock icon will appear on the activity, confirming that it is locked.

Unlock an activity

1. Sign in to the Custodia mobile app.
2. Go to the Activity screen.
3. Swipe left on the activity you want to unlock.
4. Tap Unlock.
5. The lock icon will disappear, confirming that the activity is unlocked.

Lock all activities

Use this option when you want to prevent transactions from being associated with any of your activities.

1. Sign in to the Custodia mobile app.
2. Tap the lightbulb icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap Lock All My Activities.
4. Wait for the request to finish processing.

All of your activities are now locked.

Locking all activities does not lock your Custodia card. To lock your card instead, select Lock All My Cards.

Lock an activity

1. Sign in to the Custodia web app at my.custodia.ai.
2. From the top menu, select My Organization → Spend & Activities → Activities.
3. Select the activity you want to lock.
4. In the activity’s detailed view, select the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the activity card.
5. Select Lock Activity.

The activity is now locked.

Unlock an activity

1. Sign in to the Custodia web app at my.custodia.ai.
2. From the top menu, select My Organization → Spend & Activities → Activities.
3. Select the activity you want to unlock.
4. In the activity’s detailed view, select the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the activity card.
5. Select Unlock Activity.

The activity is now unlocked.
