Overview
All activities can be created within the platform. If you wish to create more than one activity at a time, you may also do a bulk import by following the steps below:
- Click on Activity tab in the top Menu bar
- Choose New Spend Permission
- Follow the usual steps of creating the activity and select ACTIVATE
- Once Activated, Click on Export as CSV
- Click on By Employee Email, By Employee ID or By Employee External ID, whichever is best for your use case.
*If your tenant does not use any of the above unique identifiers, please see below* - Open the Exported File and notice how the column headers correlate to the information you used to create the Activity
- Edit the file according to your needs: adding rows for each new individual using their Custodia user email (all items that remain the same can be copied and pasted)
* Be sure to keep the date format YYYY-MM-DD for all entries
* Be sure to save the file in .CSV or Excel format - Select the Activities tab again and click on the three dots (on the top right-hand side) to select Import
- Click on the “Drop file here” box to upload the updated .CSV file
For tenants that are not using Employee Email, Employee ID or Employee External ID
You can use the ownerId field as the unique identifier in your import file
- Click on Activity tab in the top Menu bar
- Choose New Spend Permission
- Create a group activity and select ACTIVATE
- Run an export from Activity > Activities page using the "Recent" tab. In your template be sure to include owner_name and ownerId.
- Import the ownerId values over to your import template which should then resemble:
