Overview

Reclaiming a sub-budget allows you to return unused funds to the parent budget. This helps you rebalance allocations and keep your budget aligned with actual spend.

How It Works

Basic flow:

1. Review what is used, reserved, and available in the sub budgets
2. Select Reclaim icon
3. Review the total amount to be reclaimed
4. The remaining amount is returned to the parent budget

Key Considerations

• Check active allocations first
  If the sub-budget has funds "Reserved" you (or the sub-budget owner) must resolve the reserved allocations
  Reclaim or close any unused allocations within the sub-budgets to avoid leaving funds behind
