Overview
The Cards screen provides a centralized view of all cards issued within your Custodia account. From here, Finance and Admin users can review card statuses, filter cards by lifecycle state, and view key card attributes such as issuer, expiration date, and assigned cardholder.

Navigate Finance & Accounting-> Cards-> Cards.
How It Works
Each card issued in Custodia is assigned a lifecycle status and a set of attributes. The Cards screen allows you to filter cards by status and review detailed metadata for each card. This information is read-only and reflects the current and historical state of each card.
Card Status Filters
You can use the status filters at the top of the page to narrow the list of cards displayed.
Active
Displays cards that are active and can be used for transactions.
Locked
Displays cards that are temporarily blocked and cannot be used until unlocked.
Terminated
Displays cards that have been permanently closed and can no longer be used.
New / Inactive
Displays cards that have been issued but not yet activated by the end user.
All
Displays all cards associated with the account, regardless of status.
Card Attributes Explained
Each row in the Cards table includes the following attributes:
Card Holder
The employee assigned to use the card.
The email address associated with the cardholder.
Card Ending With
The last four digits of the card number.
Status
The current lifecycle state of the card. Possible values include:
- Active
- Locked
- Terminated
- Unactivated
Card Type
The card configuration defined in the Custodia system (for example, physical or virtual).
Expiration
The card expiration date.
Issuer
The card processor that issued the card.
Business Partner
The business partner associated with the card, if applicable.
Hybrid Card
Indicates whether the card supports hybrid usage for both business and personal expenses.
Company Name
The company entity associated with the card.
Issuance Date
The date the card was created for the employee.
Last Updated
The most recent date when the card status was changed.
Important Notes
- Card attributes are informational and cannot be edited directly from this screen
- Terminated cards cannot be reactivated
- New / Inactive cards require activation by the end user before they can be used
