Overview
Users can order regional EU cards directly from the Custodia mobile app. The options that appear during the ordering process depend on the Org Team configuration within the tenant.
Each Org Team can be assigned to one of the specific card programs, and the app will display only the card types that the user is eligible to receive.
Card Types Available
Enterprise Card
A business card issued for company spending under the corporate program.
Benefits Card
A business card issued for individual use within supported corporate benefit programs.
The card types available to each user are based on the Org Team settings configured within the tenant.
How To Order a New Card
- Open the Custodia app and go to the Organize tab where you will see your action items.
- Swipe to reveal "Create Now" option
- Review the card types shown. These will align with your assigned Org Team configuration. Then select the card type you would like to order.
- Enter the required information:
- Date of Birth
- Nationality
- Confirm the details and select Order.
Virtual cards are issued and immediately available. If physical cards are supported for your program, production and shipping will follow your company policy settings.
Why Date of Birth and Nationality Are Required
- This information is collected to meet regional EU regulatory and compliance requirements
- This information must be collected before a card can be activated.
- This information can only be collected once. If additional cards are needed, this step in no longer required.
ePIN Delivery and Usage
Once a card is successfully ordered:
- The user will receive a direct email containing their ePIN
- The ePIN is intended only for online transactions
- The ePIN should not be shared
Add to Wallet (Manual Provisioning)
At this time, wallet provisioning is available through manual provisioning only.
Steps to Add to Wallet
- Open Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
- Select Add Card
- Choose Enter Card Details Manually
- Enter the virtual card information as displayed in the Custodia app
- Complete issuer verification if prompted
Once completed, the virtual card can be used for contactless and mobile wallet transactions where supported.
